Want to chat about all things podcasting?

this is just for you, as way of thanks for being a Pod Chat supporter 🙂

As you know, I use Substack for my newsletter, as I find it an amazing tool that’s not only built for creators, but also makes it super easy for readers/listeners to be part of the community, through comments, email replies, and more. Thanks to a new feature they recently released, that’s going one step further, with the Pod Chat subscriber chat.

This is our own conversation space in the Substack app that is only for subscribers to Pod Chat — and with Twitter seemingly on a path to destruction, the timing couldn’t be better for a conversational tool like this. This is where I plan on posting ideas for the podcast, thoughts, and updates that come my way, as well as asking you your take on special events I’m considering for next year (like a live stream with some of the smartest people in podcasting). Best of all, it’s super easy for you to jump into the discussion.

Simply download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email), then turn on push notifications so you get the latest chat and conversation as it’s happening.

How to get started

  1. Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Substack Chat is available on both iOS and Android.

  1. Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.

  1. That’s it! Look for the Pod Chat conversations, and jump into the chat(s) to say hi! If you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
